Fun quotes from those wacky gringos, Tommy and Val. They were brave enough to come visit this weeked, even though Hermosillo is really not much to look at, and I wondered what could possibly make their whole trip worthwhile (other than hanging out with ME, of course). Turns out it was all a matter of beef.

ME: (picking up Val and Tommy from the airport) WHAT ARE YOU GRINGOS DOING HERE???

Tommy: Can we pick up a hooker?
Me: NO!

M: Shut the hell up... drink your milk.

Me: What happened?
Tommy: Some mean kids came and pushed up in front of us!

Me: THERE'S A RING IN THE LIMES!

(during part two of our friday night beer binge, in spanish)
Me: they seem to like this indio beer
Freddy: well... just don't tell them what it's made from
Me: ???

Me: you guys want some dessert?
Val: what's for dessert?
Tommy: BEEF!!

Me: well, now you can go home and tell everyone you had head tacos
Tommy: Yeah, I figured you'd pull something like that...
