Hermosillo heat
Well, just for youse alls informinimatation, I got back home safely last monday. There was a small tiff with my bf over unclear return dates (friday... no, saturday... maybe monday... no, wait!) so I decided to head back and try to smooth things over. Turns out it wasn't completely necessary, after a day of pouting on both sides everything went right back to normal. Turns out he had spent time and effort preparing a whole welcome home thing that kept getting pushed back. Oops. A small but nice detail I noticed right off is that he had his car cleaned inside and out, and now looks and feels suitable for human use. The rest of the welcome home shenanigans will have to be spread out over the course of the week for reasons obvious to him and me. The rest of you... really don't want to know XD.
Oh, and he loved his new shoes. Score.
I got greeted with the irrefrenable force of god-freakin'-damned Hermosillo heat. I don't even want to know the exact temperature. I just need to know it's strong enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk, and this makes it quite impossible for me to go out or do anything outdoorsy during daytime hours. I just remembered yesterday, THIS was the real reason I was so hesitant to come home. Aagagagagagagagag...

-(after second pixie stix) "I UNDERSTAND CHILDREN SO MUCH BETTER NOW!! THIS WILL MAKE ME A BETTER TEACHER!!"

-"Damn noisy mexicans!"
-"PB&J and a nice chardonnay!"
-(overheard in a random conversation) "...then they put the electrodes on your testicles..." me: "oh! so you've been to Mexico :D"
-"OH MY FUCKING GOD A FUCKING DEER!!"
-"You just puked 20 dollars worth of food... want a mint?"
-"I'M A BIG F..." ok, ok, abort that one XD
-Playing siblings with chiriko and fabulous_papaya while looking at open houses
