Tell me what 3 day weekend and I will request the days off immediately.
I just hope it's not thanksgiving, cause I like my black friday shopping (as you encountered). That's November 27th. Just let me know and I am so there. I HEART MEXICO. I can take super awesome pictures this time with my way too expensive camera.
3 day weekend will be november 15-17. This is rather cool for me because the 17th, as you may remember, also happens to be my aniversary, so much celebrating will be called for. I might even be bold enough to ask for tuesday off, but who knows.
I also majorly freakin' HEART black friday shopping (from only one experience)... I need to plan a trip to Tucson or somesuch on that day.
Not official, but the days were open and they really can't deny me -- I normally work Sundays through Thursdays, so I have asked for my last two vacation days be...
Nov 16th and Nov 17th.
I have fridays and saturdays off normally, so that'd give me Nov 14th - 17th to hang out/etc. Let me know if you think I should take one more day (Tuesday) or (thursday) to make it all come together best/have the most time to hang out and be a stupid American with you. I am also trying to pick up more Spanish, but since I've never ever learned a foreign language in any type of proficiency it's highly difficult for my old head. Tommy hasn't spoken to me on whether he wants to or can afford to go. He probably will pull it together at the last minute, but I'm going to look into different travel arrangements this year since I'm going to make my car a Vegas Only (no roadtripping) vehicle.

I think your schedule is perfect. Friday I'll be off work around 3, and as I already told you, I have monday off. Tuesday or thursday would be okay too, but only if you manage to book a later flight (after 7pm) because that's when Fredy and I are both free to take you to/pick you up from the airport.
Is anyone else interested in these shenanigans??? all are very much invited.
