Describe the meaning or significance in your username:Seaside came from the manga when Nana talks about her "seaside town" in the first volume. As for tragedy, I forgot. It might have been from a song or from another manga.
Favorite color: Green is my favorite, but I also like red and black.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? It depends on the situation. If I am the leader (or have to be), then I will give orders. If there is another leader, then I will follow. If the leader is going to make me do something embarassing or against my beliefs, then I will have to say no.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Half-empty because when I think of full, I think of the water/liquid being at the top of the rim or at least 7/8th full.
Your favourite drink is?Water because it's so refreshing. Ahhhh... ^_^ Yummy!
Smoking. Yes or no?No, I don't smoke and I don't plan on doing so in the future.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests?Reading manga, learning different things (such as the Japanese language, science, science, science), listening to all kinds of music from around the world, eating. I also love Harry Potter.
What are your pet peeves?Fake people and bugs. I do not like it when people change themselves in order to fit in with a crowd. Bugs creep me out so bad. I spaz out and leave the room/area as quickly as possible.
What are your hobbies? Special talents?Reading manga is my hobby. Listening to music, too. Special talents? I used to play the violin and (contra)bass. I also like to make stencils and put them on shirts.
Your strengths lie in… and why?I am a good listener so if someone needs me to discuss issues and whatnot, then I will be there and offer my opinions. If there is something that I believe in or strive for, then I stick with it no matter what.
Your weaknesses are… and why?I can't communicate with people very well, as in opening up. I don't talk to people about my personal thoughts/life, but I will listen to theirs. I also don't want people to depend on me because I know I won't be there for them during certain moments. Hahaha, sorry...
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? I admire... James Dean because he is a great actor and is a rebel (love that!); John Stamos because Uncle Jesse is hot, loving, yet rebellious; Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop because he can fight so well and I secretly dream of fighting like him; Hyde because he is my rock star and I dig his style; Mika Nakashima because she can change her look in a flash and remains mysterious as always; and Nana Oosaki because of her pride and determination.
What do you look for in a friend and why?I can be friends with anyone as long as we can accept each other. As for close friends, it takes a lot of trust. I only have a handful (one handful to be exact) of close friends.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why?I would love to be the singer, but I can't sing so... I'll be the drummer because I've always wanted to bang on them since age 12.
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why?I want a simple apartment with a nice full size bed, an elegent bathroom with one of those Victorian tubs (??) and modern sinks, big closets, a nice steel kitchen, a living room with a flat screen TV and huge stereo system so I can jam, a nice work area with a library, and a nice view.
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why?Necklace because you don't have to take them off (at least I don't). Rings and bracelets can never stay on me because once I take them off, they are off.
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why?Oosaki Nana because she is so tough and won't let anything shatter her dreams. Plus, I love how she cares for Hachi a lot.
Who is your least favorite character and why?Right now I am battling it out with Takumi and Hachi. Takumi is so sick. I hate how he is using Hachi and cheating on her. As for Hachi, she needs to tough it up and quit following Takumi. Come on!! I mean, don't get me wrong. I think Hachi is the cutest, but I hate how she follows him around and worries about how she looks in front of others.
Your favorite pairing? And why?I love the relationship between Nana and Hachi. They are so different, but they click and get along with each other so well.
Your favorite relationship? And why?Hachi and Nobu. Because they were both happy, and they looked like they were in a fairyland throughout their relationship. Hachi, you should have said something!!! Should have lied or something!!! *__*
