The Basics
Name: Aly (short for Alyson, but anyone can call me either)

Describe the meaning or significance in your username: It used to be "secretagentpata" for years because I was a Patamon fan back in the day. I bought a re-name token and changed it. So yeah... I always thought that name was interesting and cute. It's a common name for taverns and clubs and it's also a play on words: "Do Drop In." Like saying "Please Stop By!"
Favorite color: At the moment? Red. It changes from time to time, though.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? Depends on the situation. I can take orders at work very well, but when no one else will take charge, I'll step up.
Is the glass half full or half empty? It's a glass.
Your favourite drink is? Green Apple Martini. <3
Smoking. Yes or no? Nope.
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? I collect manga, Sims games, PS2 games and DVD box sets. I also like to draw when things get a little slow at work.
What are your pet peeves? Annoying customers. I work at a call center (Microsoft customer service for tech support. Basically, I tell people if they have to pay for support or not and transfer their call to the right group.) There's nothing I find more annoying when people are all "KHFJDGSK GET BILL GATES TO PAY FOR THIS!!! MY HUSBAND'S A LAYWER!! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!!! I'LL SUE YOU!!! *TEARS!!*" I mean, most people are pretty cool on the phone, but I hate screamers. Cryers too, if they're all "I'm broke and my dog died and my friends hate me and I was just fired and my husband left me and little Billy needs braces..." I sympathize with you, really I do. I'm not a monster, but don't use petty tactics to try to wear me down. That's lame. I'm not going to get my ass fired because of you.
What are your hobbies? Special talents? I can draw fairly well. Most fanart, though. I can also sing and I'm learning to play guitar.
Your strengths lie in… and why? Honesty and loyalty.
Your weaknesses are… and why? Good food. :x I'll never loose weight. I'm also too nice for my own good sometimes.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why? Honestly? I can't think of anyone. I admire a few people, but I'm kind of my own role model sometimes.
What do you look for in a friend and why? Sense of humour, intelligence/wit, someone who will be there when I need them.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? guitar or bass. I just love the instument. And come on, who doesn't want to rock out on stage with a guitar? :D
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? Very comfortable, but not messy. I'd have vintage posters on the walls and a stack of DVDs and CDs my the entertainment center. ... Hm, probably something really FRIENDS-ish.
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? A ring. It symbolizes a lot. Friendship, love... things like that.
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? NOBU!!! I love the guy so much. He's such an underdog and I can't help but root for him. He's such a good guy too... and funny!
Who is your least favorite character and why? Takumi. It's probably because he's with Hachi, though. He's also a grade-A asshole.
Your favorite pairing? And why? Either Nobu/Hachi or Nana/Hachi. Nobu/Hachi because I think that Hachi has finally found a guy that's right for her. Nana/Hachi because they're so loyal to eachother. The manga has hinted that they may have feelings for eachother anyway.
Your favorite relationship? And why? Oh. Um, isn't that the same thing? Well, probably Nobu/Hachi then.
