The Basics

Describe the meaning or significance in your username: I was extremely obsessed with Battle Royale & Chobits at the same time for a while. Chigusa was my favorite character from BR and I cosplayed Chii, so I just combined the two into Chiigusa. It's become my alias now
Favorite color: Black, red, blue, pink.
Do you give orders or simple follow what's given to you? I definitely give orders in most situations. I like to take charge a lot of the time because I am afraid no one else will. I want to make things happen.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Usually, it is half-full, but everyone goes through those days where it's a bit empty. =/
Your favourite drink is? Alcoholic? Definitely a big fan of the Smirnoff.
Smoking. Yes or no? I personally don't smoke and I used to yell at my friends who did, but then I met a boy who looks really hot when he smokes, so I don't really care/mind anymore. >.>
Scraping the Surface
What are your interests? Writing, video gaming, cosplay, sewing, Japanese culture & language, NANA, Battle Royale, Whedonverse [Buffy, Angel, Firefly], Final Fantasy, music, and fashion.
What are your pet peeves? Loud, obnoxious people, people who give up easily, people who contantly belittle themselves and say how ugly/dumb they are, people who throw money around as though it is nothing, people who think they are the coolest thing ever, and people who judge simply on appearance.
What are your hobbies? Special talents? I consider myself to be a pretty good writer. I enjoy doing it and people seem to like what I write. I also play guitar, though not very well. I need a lot of practice, haha.
Your strengths lie in… and why? Determination. I don't give up, so my friends tell me. When there is something I want, I am generally pretty damn determined to get it, no matter if I get hurt along the way. I try and try as much as I can, even if a lot of the time it seems hopeless.
Your weaknesses are… and why? Jealousy, selfishness, and obsession. I get jealous very easily, either over a boy or over my friends. I know it's a bit selfish to not want my extremely close friends (or the boy I like) to hang out with anyone other than me, but I cannot help it sometimes. ;>.> I also get very invested (or obsessed) in certain things. I get fixed on one thing and I can't give it up until I either get what I want or am shot down. Sometimes it can be all I think about.
Digging a little Deeper
Who do you admire (whether it be fictitious or real life) and why?
Heather - She is my best friend and my little Hachiko. When I found out everything she went through before I met her in March, I wonder how she came out of everything okay. I certainly wouldn't have been okay. She is very remarkable and I admire her for still having hope for life. She has been through a lot and I am glad she can still be happy and be so full of optimism.
Takako Chigusa from Battle Royale - Haha, I know I am dork for admiring a fictional character, but she is just so kick ass. I personally think she had the hardest and most brutal fight in the entire story and she came out of her fight alive. She fought for her life and for the boy she loved. It was very uplifting.
What do you look for in a friend and why? Someone who I can be myself around and not care how weird or crazy I may come off. Someone I can spend hours hanging out with and still not want to leave. Someone who I can confide in and talk about anything. And most of all, someone who will always be there for me, through thick and thin.
If you were in a rock band, which position would you play and why? I have always wished I was a good singer because I memorize song lyrics so easily and I love singing in general. I usually am always humming to myself and practice singing songs just so I can memorize the lyrics, etc, but I don't think I am talented enough to sing for a band. >.> However, I would most likely play guitar since I used to really love playing, but fell out of the habit until recently.
How would your ideal room/apartment look like and why? Small and quaint. I am not a very good decorator, lol. But, I would want to have my countless posters on the wall and just have it look like my room or place; you would walk in and go, "This is definitely Stephanie's room."
If you were a piece of jewelry what would you be and why? This is a toughie. I guess I would like to be a necklace since I never leave home without my two favorite necklaces. I would want to be one so that I could see the world from around someone's neck. It's a good viewpoint.
From the Manga
Who is your favorite character and why? Nana O. I guess because I can relate to her in so many different ways and on so many levels.
Who is your least favorite character and why? Takumi because he is a gangster. :P And because he treats Hachi like crap. *shakes fist* I don't care how nice he seems to be when he's with her, he yells at her, says terrible things to her, and cheats on her. I kind of want him to fall into a ditch somewhere.
Your favorite pairing? And why? Nana & Ren because I think their level of devotion is something few people reach. To still be madly in love after two years of complete seperation is remarkable. I hope to find that kind of love someday.
Your favorite relationship? And why? Nana & Hachi's relationship, probably because it reminds me so much of my relationship with my best friend. They compliment each other so well and I love the scenes of them together.
