Gotta love the family...
My cousin Keisha has been helping my mom out without several things recently, or just visiting as I am at home. Today such a shitty day, that I don't wish to get into it. Let's just say I am done with airlines ... Period.
(I was supposed to leave today to go back to Buffalo, but it seems my suitcase can go on a plane. I can't)
Anyway, I'm online talking to Jiannis, and as she is passing to leave, I jokingly said," Keisha, say"Hi" to my boyfriend."
her immediate reaction?
It's not," Congrats!"
It's her grabbing the headphones and giving him a mini interrogation as though she's my mother. in 2 minutes, she wants to know his name, location, age...his whole damn life story basically.
Upon hearing his age, she immediately scolds me for seeing this man AND my mother's parenting( or lack of it) for letting me so much as talk to someone like that(age wise) I think my mother was so stunned by her words she didn't say anything until after keisha left.
What's funny is that keisha is my cousin, one of those cousins that can't hold a man for a week, but keeps the baby. I can't even remember the father's name or if she is even with him still, but apparently, my social life is reason to scold the woman who raised her on parenting...while her own 2 year old is jumping and slipping on tiles. She left the house without so much as a " Bye!" to me, even when I said it to her.
I expect a swarm of aunts calling to give me advice that their wonderful years of "parental wisdom" have granted them the right to do. Even though their kids dropped out, are miserable with kids those said "parents" now have to raise while the kids party....i hate my family for being so stupid and hypocritical. they sound happy for you to your face, but spread jealous lies like the Plague when the back is turned.
If they dare to call up my mother....that is when someone's gonna see my bitchy side. I may not get along great with my mom, but she did damn well raise me right!..no matter WHAT the jealous claim.
I have never called my mom a bitch to her face.
( she calls me that on the phone when doing something dumb though)
I have never tried to strike her of thought of striking her.
I have never made her a grandma before middle and/or high school.
I have never lied about where I was going or who I was going somewhere with.
I have never dropped out of college(thought is there, but I have goals)
I do not go judging and cursing people off because i dislike a choice of theirs( unless it is retaliation)
