Knives

So Kevin and I just bought a cutlery set because we were severely lacking knives, especially stead knives.  We bought this.  I have to say I'm *very* impressed with it.  I've never used such perfect knives.  Admittedly there are probably better knives out there, but lets face it, I'm no chef, these are good enough for me.  I sliced a tomato so thin

Not to sound like a jerk, but the real test will come in 3 years, when the knives have been used for awhile.

Kevin and I have acquired a bunch of Calphalon knives piecemeal from HomeGoods over the past 6 months or so, and we absolutely love them!

Love of cooking probably died when living alone. I know it's really hard for me to work up the motivation to do anything involved when I'm cooking for myself.
