House crap
Ok, so I don't think I posted that Kevin and I found a house, so, we found a house in Billerica. The closing was set for May 30th. For reasons I really don't want to get into, this was a perfect date. Now the sellers are moving the closing to June 15th. Which just plain sucks. It means I need to actually install an air conditioner, first off. Which sucks because I could have gone the two weeks without one, but I can't do a month, my breathing will go to shit. Another problem is, we had help to move on May 31st, it was a Saturday. Nobody in their right mind is going to take a day off work to help us move on a Monday (June 16th is a Monday). Kevin's going to try to ask for the Friday before or something. --Edit-- I guess if the closing is moved there's also "penalties" for his mortgage, since he's already gotten it.
On the upside, they agreed to do the things Kevin asked them to do (have the furnace inspected, it hasn't been inspected in 25 years).
Let me just say, buying a house is a big pain in the butt.
