Delayed reaction?

It's been unusally long since I've seen my "daughter..." Our paths don't usually cross too terribly often, but it's been days now. To any of her friends, has Moonchild been staying with you? I really should spend more time at home so I can stay on top of these things.

Ohhh, maybe that's the kid that ended up in the grill of my car...

Hey hey it wasn't my fault!

Kid just jumped out right in front of me! I figured I'd take the kid home, but then I couldn't get it out of my grill. I think I've got that kid I hit piled up in a garbage bag if you wanna identify the body.

Are you serious?

Well, why wouldn't I be? I'd have to be a pretty sick guy to make jokes like that.

Isn't it just as bad to...

The child should be reviving, whoever she is. This is still Mayfield. Please go home and tend to her. Do you want me to come along?

Tend to her? You mean like, throw her in the garbage to get rid of it?

I could mount her up above my fireplace too though. You know a good taxidermist?

I mean see if she's come back to life yet, and if she has, apologize for what happened. Death is not permanent here. If it were, what you'd have to do would be finding out who she was and giving her a proper burial.

Hey hey, just what kind of guy do you think I am?

I give every little girl I run over a proper burial in the back yard. Bodies make for incredible fertilizer, you know.

My rose bushes have never looked so good!

Every--

How often does this happen?

milk_and_trauma August 20 2010, 00:20:29 UTC
It happens a couple of times a month or so. It used to happen a lot more often, but the kids started clearing off the sidewalks a lot faster when they'd see my truck coming down the road.

If you're that prone to accidents, I should ask you personally to stop driving.

'fraid I can't do that!

Milk isn't gonna deliver itself, you know!

Ask yourself. What's more important: milk, or life?

Well, that sure is an easy question!

Milk!

You should re-examine your priorities and your philosophy! I can assist you, if necessary!
