Also, I want to give Theo a big hug. And James as well - his premonition in the bath was very eerie.
Also-also, I have to say that I like the touch of James drinking in the middle of the afternoon, and keeping the bottle in his desk drawer. But then, my Jamie is a (functioning) alcoholic, so I would appreciate that. :) I think I read so many fics in the beginning that had James as a teetotaling light-weight, that I rebelled and went for the complete opposite.

Your laughter made me laugh too! But no, no, the uh, purely smut pieces are just that. They're not tied in with the snippet story, or whatever you may care to call it - sometimes I'm not sure if what I write is exciting/grasping/special effects! enough, so the pace/details can be all over the place...I'm not sure. I love writing dialogue, though, and trying to capture the way people behave through it. Whether it's convincing or not, well!
I think it's both healthy and unhealthy to have obsessions...yours sounds nice and healthy to me though! Hugs all around. :D I hope to keep you wanting to hug everyone. :)

Gillington is a pairing I hadn't come across before, but I've discovered the delights of Andrew Gillette through the eyes of talented writers like potboy, hms_dauntless, jean_prouvaire and of course wicked_jadeI had found one of your illustrations a little while ago - somehow out of the context of your LJ - and liked it, but I hadn't realized, somehow, that you had written virtually an entire Gillington novel! This series is really, really good and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I ADORE PotC and RNotC fic authors who actually give a damn about historical accuracy, from basic knowledge of how sailing ships work to the political climate of the early 18th-century Caribbean to how the Commodore of the Jamaica Squadron might really react to the ( ... )
