im studying for my biology of aids midterm on tuesday, and all i can think about is how cute viruses are. i am sure that the takeaway from my microbio textbook should not be the cuteness of viruses. but at 3:30 in the morning, thats the takeaway im gettin..

i mean, honestly! viruses are so crafty, especially for not being alive at all. and i like how they borrow organelles from host cells. i think its funny. i would like to grow a culture of viruses and give them so many ribosomes they wouldnt know what to do with themselves. (i would never grow HIV though, that is the whoriest whore of viruses..)

before i am completely written off as crazy, think about it! since we only have one set of words in our language, inanimate objects often end up personified. in my textbook, viruses apparently feed and borrow and share, etc... and how can you not feel some sort of affection for one inanimate object or another? mine is viruses (more specifically, bacteriophages), and yours can be something else.

its all just a matter of picking your poison
