It's pretty cool to be able to hear people talk about avant garde conceptual blah blah blah Yoji (pronounced, Yo-Hee.. by one of my professors--I totally wanted to tell her that it ain't fucking spanish, she tends to exoticize any god damn name) Yamamoto fashion, work with Ford models as a dresser (my first) in a fashion show, then meet up with my aunt and catch all the nitty gritty behind the scenes and watch how samples are made by these Chinese (my aunt included) garment workers. It doesn't get anymore well rounded than that my friends.
