I honestly don't get why not all authors offer PDFs - they're seriously the easiest way to edit and quickly done ;)

First things first: thank you very much! I'm happy that you enjoyed the story so much and ah... so many compliments, I feel honored! Thank you!

Actually, because it was the spn_reversebang I wrote this for, the pictures were there first - this is what my wonderful artist, smallworld_inc, gave to me, and I just took it and had a field day with it! But it's been a pleasure to work with her. If you're interested, I also pinch-hitted for her second entry to the RBB challenge. You'll find the resulting fic on my journal, it's called "Living Dead Guy" and if you like hurt!Jared stories, you're gonna love that one, too (and it's shorter than "As I Lay Dying").

And last but not least: yes, I did sign up for this year's spn_j2_bigbang! I've been pretty excited about that particular challenge for a long time, and it's going to be another J2 fic I'll submit to that. Please, feel free to friend me! :D

It's still around 8,000 words :) I like longer fics, too, in general. You just have more time to get to know the characters and how their minds work. I love that ( ... )
