Since the year turned, I've gone on a journey to get back to my original weight, between 130-140 lbs. I've lost about 14 lbs so far. My regimen is very diet-based and the workout is based off cardio (interval training).
Also within the last 3 weeks, I've had this idea of trying to get into the US Navy as an acupuncturist. I don't know if I'll ever get in, but it's a shot.
It's always been a dream of mine to serve in the military, more particularly the Navy. I wanted to be in the Army when I was a kid, but I couldn't see myself as infantry, which is funny because I almost joined the Marines. That being said, doing acupuncture for the Navy would fulfill both my dreams of serving my country and my destiny in being in medicine.
The only explanation for my fascination with the military is probably that I most likely may have been a warrior or soldier in a past life. I also believe that I was probably a monk and a medicine man back then too. It's pretty interesting how all of these are starting to express themselves all at the same time.
What's also interesting is that for some reason, even as a loner and a person who hates authority and sometimes even government, I still had the fascination for the military. I think it's mainly because I have always wanted the order, discipline, brotherhood and honor... people who live by a code (since I grew up around those who had no code). That's something I've always wanted my world to be surrounded by since I was a kid. Sure you can find that in the civilian world, but we all have our preferences, don't we? #freecountry
In any case, I hope I get a shot to at least pitch the idea with an officer in charge. If the answer is absolutely NOT, then I can always medically help our soldiers and civilians in the private sector.
