Layouts and what nots
Ok it's been a while since i've updated on here and to be fair i haven't been making icons of late (apart from the odd one). I still have loads of icons to post so i am gonna work on posting them here in the next week or so but at the moment i am playing with lj layouts. I don't know much html but i recently figured out how to actually make tables and whatnots and work with the S2 system on lj.
Wanna see an exaple of what i've been doing, well have a look at my personal journal (darkgreenfaerie) also have a peak at journals of angel50337 and empimoon for more variations of what i have been doing. I am currently working on another of my journals plus a community journal i run under my other name.
Now if you like what i have done and fancy a bit of design done for you i have some free time. I am gonna limit it to three requests for now but i have about a month off work so may be able to offer more sets soon.
What do you get with the request?
Well each design will come with...
- basic colour layout with background image.
- complimenting layout header
- user info table with layout design incorporated (you just need to add text but there will be signals as to where)
- a matching icon
- matching friends only banner.
what do i need from you?
- any images you wish me to incorporate, these can be stock images or personal pictures
- basics theme, if you want a fandom based layout design then here is the place to say what fandom (if i have trouble getting pictures i may contact you to supply a few for me)
- colours to use or not to use, try and be specific (dark blue rather than just blue) if you have a specific html code colour you like, let me know here.
- mention of anything in the above list you specifically do not want.
- a phrase or quote that you want using in the design.
- special requirements, this is where ytou put requirements if not already mentioned.
whats the catch?
there is always a catch or a price to something but i think i am relatively fair on my catch.
- there must be credit mention on user info somewhere and credit would go to dgf_icons rather than my personal journal name.
- as i said above i don't really know html so i can't do S1 style sheets or anything i use the modifications allow with their S2 styles, i sometimes can figure out bits and bobs extra but can't promise anything.
- This request is open to anyone in the community or anyone on my personal journal only Tjois does include communities run or co run by you but i must have permission from everyone who mods the community before i start working.
- Last catch is you will need to put it all on the system yourself, i will give you codes and such to put kit on. The other way is to change your password and let me have your new password to access your account and then you can change it again once i finish.
Thats it folks i will leave an indicator here as to how many requests are left and this offer will expire on 18th January. Oh and it's on a first come first served basis.
