A Temporary Goodbye...
Tonight I leave for the Navy, and, to be honest, I'm scared. Was this the right choice? Will I be happy? I don't know. All I do know is that I'm going to miss everyone here way too much. You all have been amazing friends, and I can ask for nothing more than that (and that you write back when I write all of you). It still doesn't feel like today is the day my life is going to change, but I know it is. All that's left is to figure out if it's for the better.
Amber, you make me the happiest guy on the planet. Yesterday was amazing, and I can't wait to make more memories like that. I'm going to miss you more than I can put into words, and you can't imagine how grateful I am that you're going to be waiting for me. If I write any more right now, I'm going to cry. I love you.
Vince, Mike, Kory, and the gang, you guys are my legs. Without friends like you, I wouldn't have made it this far, and even though I'm going to be away, you know I can't do this without you. Thanks for everything, the good times, the memories, and I can't wait to make more when I get back.
It goes without saying that my family has been amazing through this, and without them, I wouldn't be half the person I am. I love you all.
I'll see everyone in a couple months, I know you're all wishing me luck.
