I can't sleep
My friend wasn't satisfied with the previous poem I wrote for him, so I wrote him another. Honestly if he wants poetry for his GF he should write his own but I like to write and hes a nice guy so i wrote him another and here it is.
"Open the Door"
You shouldn’t exist, you can’t be real,
I don’t want to hurt you but that’s how I feel.
I conjured you up so many years ago;
I never dreamed I’d actually meet you though.
It would be so easy to fall in love with you,
you’re the pinnacle of perfection in my view.
When I’m near you, you make my blood flow,
I feel so alive and that’s why its hard for me to go.
Please don’t hate me for the way that I feel,
I just want to show you who I am for real.
It’s something I feel you should know,
because you fill my mind with an angelic glow.
I want to earn you trust, friendship, and love,
because you seem like an angel sent from above.
You’re everything I’ve ever looked for and more.
I’ve decided to drop the walls and open the door.
So if your still willing to see me after this,
You would fill my mind with eternal bliss.
