1 room sized air conditioners effect on a single smallish room = fucking amazing.
I yoinked the a/c out of the living room and now rather than feeling guilty about my roommate not getting any benefit, I've got a big dumb grin on my face as my room finally gets down below 80.
I mean ffs we had the a/c running all day and it still hit 90 in my room. It just doesn't make any sense to try to cool the whole apt when we almost never use the living room or kitchen. I think I'll just tell my roommate to get her own a/c and we'll deal with it that way.
