Kuso, yes we did end up with Kuso as a name, is a loving, sweet, uber affectionate little nuisance of a kitty. I think that I have kinda defeated his name being Kuso by referring to him as Koosy, which he responds to. I think that I should have insisted he be called Totetsu instead however. When he is feeling playful, he tries his best to eat my head! The other day we pulled him from my head no less then 4 times. I am apparently delicious. In the mornings, if there is no food down, he will attempt to eat the bracelets off my hand, nuzzle my face, touch me face with his paw and nibble my ears.
Izza is being more and more outgoing. It pleases me greatly because of how she was like before. I can see more and more indications of her intelligence when she looks at me. I got a decent sized cardboard box for her to tear apart and hide in. She seems to be enjoying it a lot. She really needs more toys but I am unsure of what to get her that will last a decent amount of time. The toys at the pet store always seem to be overpriced when compared to how quickly she goes through it. She will devote the entire day to this new thing, until she has destroyed it.
I'm switching the Ferrets food right now. Isis won't eat wet food or else I would mix some of that in too. Anyway, a while back, I noticed that Nicodemus had silkier fur then Isis. I think that it has always been like that but it was only after I got Nico that I could really tell. She was actually softer then she had been when I got her so I hadn't noticed how bad she still was. You can't just switch foods though, you have to make it gradual. Especially with Isis who really won't eat anything. Unfortunately, every time I tried to check out a few different foods at the store they were all the same as what I was feeding them already (Ie:not the best choice out there). The stuff that looked promising was double the price, half the food, and still didn't look like the best choice. Anyway, they were out of the regular food at one point, and I ended up getting same kind, same brand, but "enhanced". Somehow, I liked this one less because of the hardness of the food compared to the old semi-soft. After two bags of this stuff, I felt that this stuff was in fact WORSE then the food that wasn't "enhanced". Isis was now partaking in treats\vitamins that she previously had no interest in what-so-ever due to her picky-ness and she seemed to be scratching a lot because of dry skin. So obviously, the food is lacking worse then the first food. I think that I found a good choice now though. I can't tell who is eating the majority of the mix though. Nico seems to be digging the old food out to eat the new stuff, so I can't tell how much Isis is actually getting. Her fur is certainly showing improvement though and Paul thinks that she's more alert.
Isis was playing with Nico today for a few minutes. OMG! It's like a first. They have been friendly, and Nico has sought her out for company when napping, but she's never actually actively played with him. Weeee.
