When you are looking for it, you will find it.

Ahh sf_drama. This is one of the few instances where I feel that you were just looking for something. Okay, not few, but sometimes people are just kinda asking for it. In this instance, someone asks, "What is your favorite skin color?" on DeviantArt, they did earn a racism flag later and had some just retarded phrasing explaining their own position, but there is nothing wrong with the question itself as some extremely PC people seem to believe. There was still a decent amount of "OMG HOW RACIST A QUESTION!" feel to many people's reactions. I fail to see the racism in finding certain skin colors more sexually attractive then others. Or am I just naive and a closet racist? I see an attraction to certain skin colors the same as an attraction to certain hair colors(and straight or curly, short or long), or eye colors, body shapes, tattoos, piercings and on another level, their taste in clothes because that can indicate personality as well as likes and dislikes.

Personally, I prefer pale(I likes pasty goth guys), but I also like the more mocha coffee browns and olive, as well as the darker shades of milk chocolate. I just find those shades aesthetically appealing. I also adore red hair and rich browns, on girls I like those colors and blond. Depending on the gender and the hair color, I will prefer straight or curly, degree of curl is also taken in, at one point it will smash my preference and just be awesome, same with length. I like green eyes and blue. Freckles are adorable. I do not like tattoos so much, but adore piercings ...so long as they haven't attached them to their genitals because that kinda squicks me out. I like scrawny guys, I like scrawny guys with muscle, I like broad shoulders as well. A bigger tummy can be cute if it goes with their frame. After a certain point muscles pass my "I find that attractive" point and fall into an ehh to ewww state. I like muscles with a small layer of fat over them to "soften" them. With girls I like frames like mine, pixie small, or a fuller figure, especially wider hips. I like b-d breasts, probably because I don't have them. Pretty much if there is cleavage there, it is bonus.

Of course a shitty or awesome personality can trump all of this and suddenly they are not attractive at all or 10xs more attractive in all ways. I just hate the PC stance people take with "It's personality that counts, and I don't care about looks". Part of me feels that they are lying. Not in the long run mind you, just the short run. It's their appearance that you notice first. You pass judgment on their looks first. You will have varying degrees of sexual interest depending on how cute or hot you think they are, then it's up to them to not ruin their head start into your life(or bed) or to prove that they do not belong at ground zero and are so much more worth it. Even someone who was not your ideal on first glance and was kinda an "eh", can turn into ultimate hotness for you once you get to know them. On the internet it is easier to fall for personality first, but IRL appearance does play a part in the first pass of judgment.

And now I've gone off on a tangent. Anyway, I think that what I was trying to get at is that finding a certain skin color more attractive over another is not racist. Refusing to give someone a chance because of their race is. No chance because of their clothing, hair, piercing or tattoo situation is bigotry.
