Ugh, not much to say, random stuffs. I have been reading everyone journals. Issues with carpets, modeling, jobs, ect. I SILENTLY CARE OKAY?
I'm coming to the conclusion that I constantly set myself up for "The Paradox of Choices". A lot of people do. I do it with the most retarded shit. Clothes, e-books, games. The paradox of choices is when you are given or supplied with so many choices you end up making a bad one or worse yet, none at all.
Right now I've been waiting over 30minutes for Calibre to reformat the Title > Author settings on my last batch of added books. So far I have a total of 6356 books added. I'm trying to add all my fiction books. There are a few history and religion tossed accidentally in that folder but there are a shit load of fiction books of all sorts. What happens with so many books? You have so many book choices that you don't even know where to start to pick up a new one. That's part of the reason I'm loading everything into Calibre, I can set up Genre Tags, easier searches, little book descriptions, author, and even just browse by book covers. Now if only you could designate folders differently. I wish Genres could be separated more easily, but I just figured out that you can have separate libraries(with separate folders)and load them separately, I'll just toss each genre into a separate library. I have like 10gbs of Cookbooks. ...That I rarely, if ever, look at because it's hard finding one with something that I might want in it at that moment. I have 20gbs of D&D books! I Don't play D&D! I just want the blueprints and stuff ...and I can't just have one piece of a series I have to have all of it. I have even more tabletop game books to various other games. >_> I'm hopping this will help me weed out books I'll never read ever(very few), I spotted some of what I'll call dime store romance. They have vamps and werewolves and crap but I seriously doubt I'll ever want to read that stuff. I'll be ditching a lot of Mobi files if I have the books in any other format too. Mobi now has three different formats within them, the original book, the legacy format, and the newer kf8. Making the .mobi usually larger then other files, and let us not get started on the redundancy of Mobipocket files. I don't have a specific e-reader so I don't need these files, and when\if I ever do it's going to be something that I can put apps on to read whatever fucking format I want.
Right now? I'm downloading Katy Perry Sweet Treats for Sims 3. I don't think I'll even use that crap and it takes up a little over 2gbs just for the installation files, not including the space it needs to install. I have an illness.
I have soooo many god damn clothes. So many clothes that they get in the way of all the other clothes. It's terrible. Another paradox for me. I start to clean up the clothes and I end up with a bunch of items that I want to put up but still want access to and we just don't have the space to do that and what space we do have is being taken up or not utilized because Paul won't let me rearrange the room. I end up just having an anxiety attack trying to make everything fall into place and I just can't make that happen. I need bookshelves but the few I had? Richard never gave back. No one wants the entertainment center in the livingroom so I want to paint it white(Paul thinks that's stupid) and turn it into a mini closet. It won't hold a hell of a lot of clothes but it will help a lot. I also want to put it on little legs so it will be raised up off the ground a bit so I can put other flat storage containers up under it. I'm hoping I can bring up the rearrangement to Paul again soon, because the place he wants to put the new closet thing is not a big enough space. I have learned that I have a better eye for space then like everyone in this house. Not only do I want to paint it white but I also want to get some pretty wallpaper and paper the inside ..walls? of the open spaces. I'm not sure about removing the glass door or not, and replacing it with a curtain.
Paul is going to try to get me the Asus Transformer for my birthday. I settled on wanting the 101 series instead of the Prime. The Prime apparently has some awful 3g\Wifi issues due to it's casing. the TF101 doesn't even have 3G which is just fine for my needs. Apparently Ice Cream Sandwich(OS) needs to be kept far away from it though. I just want an Ebook reader that I can fiddle on the internet with and isn't locked down like all the other ones.
