The aftermath...
Palu has been helping me to rebuild Dende's lookout along with Dende himself, Mr Popo, and everyone else that was kind enough to volunteer. It's starting to look partially like it used to, but some of the trees that were destroyed will be hard to replace.
Palu has commenced his teaching under Dende, and I have been spending a great deal of time sparring with Mr Popo. Popo is a great warrior, and I feel privileged that he agreed to take time out from his duties to indulge me. I think he himself may be somewhat honoured, being as his former charge Kami is now a part of me.
I'm planning on taking a little trip into civilisation at some point this week. There are a number of books I had been intending to borrow from the Earth libraries prior to my leaving for the desert, and I feel now is as good a time as any to fulfil my desire. A large number of Earth philosophers hold my interest at present, and I still need to get round to finishing Sun Tzu's "Art of War".
Palu is calling. I believe it is time for our evening spar. It is good to see he is so eager to learn. I am proud to call him my child.
