[Things had been crazy lately. It felt like every time Elektra turned around one of the boys was in a crisis that needed her attention even if there was little she could do directly for them. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad if this house hadn't become far too big without Bruce to talk to or her father giving her the cold shoulder when he was home.  Eventually both men would come around but, until then Elektra needed someone to talk even if it was for one night. Who better for the job than Candy, her best friend? She probably needed a break too. After all she probably loved Owen, Gale, Dexter, and Bruce far more than Elektra or at least didn't deny it as fiercely even in her private thoughts. So she waited for the girl to show up, playing with Candy's dog as she did so on her bed.]
