Yes; this is the first piece he ever appeared in, so it's info-dumpy. In revision/expansion phase things are going to move around considerably, I think.

It's just barely possible that he wouldn't have a good enough grip on terms of respect that she'd be able to get away with it, which is the direction I was coming from, as opposed to major escalation. As Eduard asked her not to pick that fight. *hands* I need to write more of him, really, and get an idea of how he interacts with the others; his involvement is fairly sketchy and background at the moment.
