[headtilt] I sort of want to feel sorry for Brighid in a way, so aware of her own mortality among the longer lived around her, but on the other hand she has such a grace to her it sort of defies anything as crass as pity.
Yeah. Phoebe ruled through guile; people respected her, followed her to see what she'd do next. Brighid . . ruled through grace. People followed her because they loved her.
She lived longer than she expected to, based on her family's tendency to eighty year lifespans. She ruled that long. But she still died, of old age.
It really, really bothered the ones who outlived her. >.>
My money's on thoughtless, considering how quickly she got Brighid involved (though possibly she didn't expect Jared and Brighid to bond that much, or just wanted access to the royals, or, or, though I've never gotten the impression of things going Sideways).
