Maybe more people would vote if we could run the Republicans against Lovecraft's minions? I'm trying to imagine Lovecraft as a speech writer for the Dems. Anything to keep out Carly!

Well, if you've read much Lovecraft (I actually read all his fiction in the late 1960s - had a complete set of Arkham House first editions) you know that the man wasn't exactly rational. I treasure Lovecraft for 2 things: an awareness of gibbous moons and the phrase "eldritch horror." The less said about his politics the better.
