LUMINARIA and OUR BODY
if you aren't doing anything tonight, head downtown for luminaria. a whole bunch of free art events around the city to showcase what the hell the art community here is capable of. WE REALLY NEED THIS!! this event is great for the city and its great for us artists.
URBAN 15 is performing at 8 on the mainstage at houston st. I will be filming probably so i won't get to chill much but if you see me, give a holler. come see us though, the dance group is amazing.
also, today the witte let the first thousand people in for free as part of the event which means they were letting people in for free for the our body exhibit. it was fucking amazing. even if you have to pay, i recommend going to see it. you'll never feel more human in your life and it's a wonderful experience. it makes you cherish what you got and it's eerily beautiful at times. it's for anyone who has a fascination with the human body, that's for sure.
