Yeah, I dont update this much do I?
Dont worry I'm not neglecting you all for LJ, I havent put anything there in years either XD
Ok, STUFF!!

I currently have exams on.
I have already sat 2 that hopefully went ok, and I have 2 more on the 22nd and 23rd of Nov.
Law of Financial Institutions and Securities, which will be MEGA EASY, and Advanced Financial Accounting, which will not a MEGA PAIN IN THE ASS!
Oh yeah, for those of you that hadnt noticed yet, I'm a finance geek.

My Dad got in touch with me recently about the fact that a friend of the family has a friend in Melbourne who works relatively high up in NAB, and has suggested I send a resume in through e-mail, which I shall do as soon as I write up my CV.

I need a job for 2 reasons.
I am nearing the end of my course resulting in me only doing 2 subjects next semester = payment from centerlink only comes if I waste half my bloody time filling in a job seeker diary.
I would prefer to just get a part time job, earn money, and tell Centerlink to shove their heads up their ass, which i wont do for the second reason.

Which is as follows.
Me and Natalie have been discussing kids.
We both want children, she wants them now.
I would rather wait until I have finished Uni and have a job, and a few other little things that need to be taken care of before her having a kid like her giving up smoking and the such.

After much discussion we have come up with a compromise.
If I can get a job, and if I can do both of my subjects first term next semester, and..you know, smoking etc, then we are going to start trying to have children around late Dec this year/early Jan next year.
A 9mth pregnancy would mean that I would be out of Uni for 3 months prior to her due date, approximately.
Oh and dont get me wrong, I want kids too, I'm just freaked out because I do not feel old AT ALL. I have 1 online friend who has a kid, that is it! Most of my friends are a lot younger than me because, well, lets put it this way, I can discuss business and stuff with my other finance nerd friends, but I really feel no different from when I was like...12 O_o I have always been mature, I just enjoy being wierd because I like to have fun.

This also means that we are going to aim to get married probably around April of next year, during my mid semester break.
It will not be a big expensive wedding, as I have no money, Nats Dad has no money, and my parents have limited money due to them just paying out on Alicias wedding.
Therefore it is likely to just involve us getting dressed up, and getting a celebrant to say vows. No big after wedding dinner thing etc.
This is a mild bummer because I have always wanted a big wedding, furthermore there is the problem of where to have the wedding, due to my family being prodominently located in NZ, and hers all being her in Aussie.
We will have the official wedding here.
Then what we have is called an affirmation of vows in NZ, it's what my parents did.
A few of my family members will come to the wedding in Aussie, since I have Aussie relatives and all, and I will also invite some Aussie friends I have, such as Victoria, James, Luke, Mike, etc...assuming they can make it XD So I guess it will still be pretty big numbers wise, it just wont be big budget wise.

And..yeah.
I'm going to go post this at LJ now.
I'm going to be sorry that quite a few of my friends wont be able to be at our wedding, but that was always going to be the case given the diverse locational positioning of all my online friends XD

Love you all.
Noodles.

Oh, and one addition.
Fucking growing up.
