(no subject)
I've never gotten into 24 before, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm 20 minutes in to season 2 episode 1 and I'm already upset. This is what I don't like so far:
-Torture works.
-Terrorist groups are automatically from the middle east.
-Not American or don't speak perfect English? You're probably middle eastern and a terrorist.
-It portrays an all powerful, all knowing goverment with no oversight as good.
I don't feel like I'm that political, but there's something about this show that rubs me the wrong way.
It is just a tv show though...
