my office mate came in bringing bright smiles and poignant stories.

he shared a "small world moment" story. the title and then the story were both simple and wonderful -
I am always pleased when a friend, colleague or acquaintance shares the light of their being, the light which shines gratitude for the simple joys of life

This weekend he traveled to his home state to see his mom in the Vagina Monologues.  Following the show he attended a gathering at his Mom's where he reconnected with many folks he had not seen in varying long times. He also met a man he did not know and yet had that "i know i know you' sense reaction.  Upon driving home today he stopped at a gas station he frequently stops at on the trip - and lo and behold who is the cashier but this man he knew and yet did not know.  Does not sound like a profound story - and yet their was a light in his eye as he told it; he was relating the wonder of connecting with people when you do not even know you are connecting

immediately following this story, arrive a neighboring office colleague, and she raves about the reviews she has heard regarding our Vagina Monologues here at EMU. The three of us briefly chatted about the show - here, there...

Then we moved on to current events - has anyone heard about this Formaldihyde in FIMA houses in New Orleans? they seem to just keeping #$*&^% up.
