reactions to stress
in this particular case I am referring to hearing from my Mom, who had a routine appointment with her heart dr. this am. She tells me the appointment "did not go well" and she has surgery on Monday. And so my heart starts racing. She seems fine with the process. She has a stress test, a cathiter and a stint - all these things have only vague meaning for me - they are less frightening than the bypass surgery and stroke complications of 2000 she had (or dad's 6 at once bybass surgery of 07) yet it is stressful.
I am very glad they are coming out to visit this weekend, and I wonder if that is a 'good' choice for her health...
so, anyway - my folks are coming to visit, bringing their dog (won't my cats be pleased) and seeing my show then heading back only to PA -
