"I'm Looking For An Enbalming Kit..."

Ah, the T.V. you get to watch while coming in and out of conciousness on a sick day. Harlen tends to power trip a bit when it comes to what we watch, and I'm easy going- I like to watch sports. But sometimes you want to indulge in the crap that you'd NEVER make your signifigant other watch. Like those awful wedding shows on TLC. Yep, I got my fill of Rich Bride, Poor Bride, Say Yes To The Dress, and the real gem: Four Weddings. Can I get an AW YEEAH from the ladies?    *crickets*     Yes, the women portrayed are generally hoorrible, whiny, screechy, selfish things. Yet, I'm entertained. Go figure. What else did I see? A Minute To Win It. With Guy Fieri, that loon from that food show? Fun parlour games that make people look silly, good clean fun. Can you balance three golf balls on top of each other? My new favorite Oddities, is about a pawn shop in New York that deals exclusively in the creepy, and bizarre. I soooo want to go there and browse their creepy selection of mortician's tools and mummified cats, yurk! The only thing more fun than the shop itself is the clientele, I particularly liked the playwright that only talked in a dramatic Vincent Price voice: "Is thaaat a ssstraight jaaaacket?" lol.
I watched This Is It. The MJ movie. I actually liked it, he seemed very proffessional in rehearsals- plus getting to see him do Beat It is too cool. Caught Easy A. It had some memorable lines, but it's no John Hughes movie people. One that I really liked was Teenage Papparazzo, the Adrian Grenier documentary about This 14 year old blonde boy that was running around Hollywood as a papparazzi. Good job, I think the public obsession with celebrity in general is frightening. Catfish, I really would recommend. A photographer in New York gets a painting of one of his photos in the mail from a 7 year old girl, and it starts a year long relationship with a family that may or may not exist. Crazy.
I was given I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, to read, compliments of a kid at work. I don't know what it says about me that I'm enjoying it. Tucker Max is a world class dick. I DO NOT recommend this to the easily offended.
Last night, Harlen and I watched tThe Way Back. It's good. a little long, LOTS of walking. A group of prisoners escabe a Siberian gulag (jail) and walk  WALK  to India. I'm tired thinking about it.

I don't think I need to watch TV for a good two months now.

t.v., sick:(, movies
