I think I'm going to enroll for September. It will give work enough time to rearrange our schedules, and I'l have enough time to mentally and emotionally prepare to drive myself into the ground. I'll be going to school from 8am-1pm and then (probably) working from 2:30pm- 11:00pm Monday to Friday. At least I'll have weekends off, but that will be taken up with school work, doing my share of the cleaning, and trying to plan out meals for the week. Ugh. But it's going to be sooooo worth it.
We watched 127 Hours last night. It was sooo good. That is all I can say, it's hard to describe. I know that is the theatrical adaptation of what happened, but it's still intense to watch someone go through that.
I read a couple of good books. Silence Of The Lambs by Thomas Harris. Good. Chilling. Makes you realise what a good job they did on the movie.
Broken by Daniel Clay. Basically, it is his adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird. Sacrilage, some would say. And while you can see the bones of the classic Harper Lee novel there, it builds it's own, original story over top of it. Set in the modern day suberbs of England, it does not have the same hopeful feeling of To Kill A Mockingbird, but ends with with such a burst it leaves you stunned. This book will make you angry at the system. Angry for all the people who fall through the cracks of society. I think that's why the ending is such a shock. A hard book, but read it, I promise it's worth it.
