Ngah. The book store is such a rip off. I sold 11 books today for a total of aproximately 80 bucks. That's like.. an average of 8 bucks a book. *killself*

Never sell books back to a bookstore. Find kids taking the class and sell it to them half what you paid.

it sounds so good in theory, but I've never been able to actually pull it off :/. The books that I sold back to the actual bookstore I actually got generally decent prices for, but they were only taking back books in 1) good condition and 2) they knew professors would be using next semester. Unfortunately I was taking rather obscure classes this semester so 6 of my 11 books weren't being used the next semester so they wouldn't take them. So I got 70 bucks for 5 of the books.. and then I went down the street to a slightly shadier place that'll take any book, and sold the remaining 6 for a whopping 9.50.

I'd hold on to them for another semester, since your classes are probably fall ones, right? So get the people taking it next fall! :)
