LETS GO BUFFALO!
So... The stanley cup playoffs are in full swing, and the Sabres are tied with Philly at one game a piece... This is a good thing.
Tonight is game three, as well as the first game in our house. I am quite sure that the fans will be loud and obnoxious! I am hoping on being there tonight, although not sure if it is going to happen yet.
I love the playoffs. It is a great time to be a fan of a sports team, whether it is hockey, football, or whatever really. Your team is fighting for that end goal, the whole city unites over a common goal. It is a great feeling.
I have only been to two playoff games in my life. The first was the horrid loss to Pittsburgh back in . What was horrible about that series was the fact that we had won a huge game in the previous round against philly, then died against the pens... bleh... It was a fun game but not the best to be at. We ended up losing that series in 7...
The second Playoff game i was at was in 2006 against the Carolina Hurricanes. The year we should have gone all the way but unfortunately found ourselves sidelined by injury... It was game 6, at home, and an OT game. The arena was insane... The tying goal to bring it to OT came late, and the winner came fast. Walking out of that arena that day was amazing. Fans were in a frenzy, things were looking up.
I cant wait to see if I can go tonight. I cant wait to at least see a game again :)
