[Beginning his search for his love Alice and separating from Mormo, Decus happens to see Sheena walking to the town gate]

[The sun came up, and it was morning once again. Sheena and Corrine were going through town, asking each of the locals for information on the Chosen. But it was already sunset and they haven't even gotten a glimpse or word about the elusive blond. To make their day more terrible, some random guy just came up, shoved a photo in her face, and started rambling off about this "his" Alice. And to make matters worse, this guy REEKED like hell. Sheena knew she was in the primitive land of Sylvarant, but this was ridiculous.]

H-hey! Quit shoving that picture in my face!

[Decus mistakes Sheena's disgust and repulsion for a shy affection. Being the gentleman he always thought Alice thought he was ... which she didn't ... he decided to be gentlemanly]

Ah there's no need to be shy. I'm only but a handsome man that is asking you a question about his eternal love. Act as if I were a normal town folk!~

[This guy... He was exactly like Zelos in every way but in others, he was the complete opposite. Like Zelos he was so conceited that he's blind to almost anything. He assumes that women will immediately fall in love with his good looks. The only thing missing was the flock of floozies. Though Sheena has to admit that Zelos would never allow himself to smell this bad. Nor would he make a fool of himself by moving the way this guy did. (The way this man swayed reminded Sheena of an alcoholic drunk.) On her shoulder, Corrine whispered

[Now Decus wasn't as smart as he proclaimed he was, so things that made no sense were logic for him...]

I do know of this Chosen you're speaking of. Or at least I've heard of her.

She may be looking for beauty tips from my Alice!~ How about we embark together to find our respective blonde haired missing people?

[Decus knew that finding Alice around here would be harder than not, and a little company on the side never hurt anyone]

With my Alice finding skills and your ... your ... you-ness! We shall not fail! We can both embrace our blondes together!

[Either this guy is really drunk or is a total idiot! He completely disregarded Sheena's question. Not only that but he's trying to drag her off to some kind adventure. Along with that Sheena has this gut feeling that he misunderstood that the Chosen was actually her girlfriend!]

U-uh, no I'd rather not!

[Sheena subtly backed away from the man for a quick escape. Plus his putrid stench was making her and Corrine dizzy.]

[Decus saw her reaction as cute. Apparently only to him, she was a shy maiden afraid of revealing to the world her inner deepest fantasies of love...! When Decus wasn't fawning over Alice, he couldn't help but help others who felt the same love for others as he did for his Alice]

There is no need to fear my new friend! I understand your heart completely! It speaks out to me through your actions unable to escape through your lips that pour out of your heart...!!!~

[He walks to Sheena just inches away with a sudden pause]

I swear upon this picture of Alice on top of my love and adoration for her, that I! D.U.M.B.O. Decus will see to it that you are able to reveal your true feelings and let your heart yell out to the world....!!!

[Decus clasp her hands with a look that shows he feels her feelings that are similar to his ... well in his own eyes anyway]

[Decus realized he didn't know her name]

[Sheena was stunned to say the least. This guy acted completely drunk, but now she's starting to think that the man is fully aware of his actions. However...]

[As if on cue, Corrine jumped off Sheena's shoulder and growled at the man. Sheena doesn't care who this man was. If she had to, she will fight him.]

[Decus noticed the battle intent coming from Sheena. Even idiots knew when a threat was about.]

Woah now, no need to be so feisty. I didn't come here to fight. Fighting isn't my thing unless Alice ask me to. You might wanna reconsider your actions if you're thinking about taking me on.

[Decus placed his iron maiden on the ground with hand on top of it]

I don't mean to pick a fight either, but I really don't feel like running off with who knows where with a idiot!

[Sheena threw one of spell cards at the strange man and soon smoke enveloped the entire area. However, as soon as the smoke cleared up, Sheena and Corrine were already gone.]

[Decus picked up his iron maiden and looked at the moon and began walking in the distance]
