Anyway, what about them fireworks, eh? Noisy things, make your clothes smell, scare the cat and make the foggy air even more saturated. And they're enormous fun.

I love 'em these days. YoungBloke also loves them these days. Smogg slept through the show (as he did last year). Felix used to be terrified. And I'm not sure Bandit ever really noticed them.

No, I tell a lie. When I first got Bandit and Smokey Joe, Matt and I went on holiday and left Matt's parents looking after them with Felix. There was a local wedding which ended with fireworks, one night. Apparently all three cats tried to get through the catflap at once - it fell out of the hole in the end.
