So, before I get onto nice things, I want to spend a minute or two ranting about the fact that there is a Police database containing what they call "domestic extremists", who are people who attend open meetings about environmental issues, animal rights campaigners, us lefties, and Nazis. Hey, blood pressure issues on a Monday morning! Win

Interesting to note that Islamic extremism isn't seen in the category "Domestic Extremists".

Obviously they're a special criminal category best fitted to the counter intelligence expertise of MI5... or the artillery in Afghanistan.

I'm not sure, but I *think* the police are able to do this because of laws passed to 'protect us from terrorism'. I think this is awful and I intend to kick up a huge stink about it.
