So, before I get onto nice things, I want to spend a minute or two ranting about the fact that there is a Police database containing what they call "domestic extremists", who are people who attend open meetings about environmental issues, animal rights campaigners, us lefties, and Nazis. Interesting to note that Islamic extremism isn't seen in the category "Domestic Extremists".

Obviously they're a special criminal category best fitted to the counter intelligence expertise of MI5... or the artillery in Afghanistan.

I'm not sure, but I *think* the police are able to do this because of laws passed to 'protect us from terrorism'. I think this is awful and I intend to kick up a huge stink about it.
