(no subject)
"Um, by the way, I leave for Bermuda tomorrow morning!" would have said the post that I would have written Monday night had I not been busy packing.
Greetings from Bermuda! Where the weather has been perfect (sunny every day, high 24 degrees, low humidity), the fishes have been abundant, and the people are ridiculously friendly and happy with the beautiful island on which they live. This is paradise, which is funny, since I was talking to Mallory about Prom and we realized that the after-Prom theme is "Tropical Paradise," while we will have returned from the real thing just 5 days prior.
This entry is overbearingly rub-it-in-your-face, but I don't care, because I'm in Bermuda!!! Oh, and don't be fooled. This is no "holiday," but rather constant hiking, swimming, working, and spelunking!
I didn't even dare read my friends entries when I logged onto LJ just now. I'm essentially living life in another world. How could I prematurely bring myself back to the one I live in Hamden? Not yet.
Tuesday, oh Tuesday. How quickly you are approaching. Stay back! I won't let you impede upon what is supposedly the best (and last) dive of my trip at North Rock. This is known to hold more parrot fish, trumpet fish, sea hares, angel fish, wrasses, flounders, eels, and barracuda than we've seen throughout the whole trip! It'll be ammmmazing!!! But don't worry, I'll bring back pictures. ;-)
