A thousand words?

Does anyone know of a good photographer/agency for a "senior" photo? My parents and I have been looking around. I don't want anything extravagant, just a down-to-earth-looking, "me" photo. See, the thing is that it's hard to find a photographer that isn't quite professional, because those tend to charge $100 for two poses (not including the copies themselves!!!).

Abby-I like that one you had taken. I was going to ask you in a comment if this guy does portraits on a regular basis, but I figured that since he's just a family friend, he isn't really looking for a job to undertake. :-)

Orrr I could always talk to Ms. Ferrucci about taking it on my own with a tripod and my Canon (yeah, I know, really really Jewish of me). So then it would be black and white, which would be artistic as always, but sometimes color is good. Funny, since I was having this exact conversation with Ginger (and some kid-Ginger, what was his name?) today after school.
