Movie recommendations… hmmm… Ooh, that's hard I see a lot of movies, so it's hard to remember… haha, let's see… I'll give you a list in no particular order as I search through my collection and my memory… I'll try to keep it as recent as possible…

1. Across The Universe (2007) - If you like musicals then this is a really good one, also if you're a fan of the Beatles. It's a gorgeous film and beautifully acted and the singing is amazing!

2. Definitely Maybe (2008) - This is one of my favourite romantic comedies, because it doesn't follow the same old formula. And there's a bit of mystery throughout it. And I really like Ryan Reynolds in it.

3. Into The Wild (2007) - I bought this on DVD right before Christmas break and kept it for after I finished my exams. I have to admit the only reason why I wanted to watch it was because of Kristen Stewart being in it. But it's a beautiful film. Amazing cinematography and acting from everyone. And sooo sad :( Kristen is only in a bit of it, but her part is really good. I was blown away by her ( ... )

All of them are available on DVD except Twilight. That came out in theatres in November, at least in the states and canada… so I'm not sure if it's still playing. I actually downloaded it from the internet. It's not the best quality, but it's watchable. So if you're really interested in watching Twilight let me know and I'll send you the link. :D

Atonement was pretty good and I would also like to watch Into The Wild with Kristen. And Twilight of course - it's release in our cinemas is Jan, the 16th.
Well, I haven't seen many films this year, gotta change that.

=)

Yeah there's nothing spectacular about it. It's just a very sweet simple movie with great characters and a lovely story. Glad you liked :D

Also I see that you added PS I Love You. Another great movie! I read the book a while before the movie came out. At first I was against Hilary Swank being Holly, but she did a wonderful job. I hated how they changed Daniel, he was nothing like in the book. That was the only gripe I had with it… otherwise great movie. Very sad…

as you said i love how simple the movie was ..
I love your taste in movies .. you know that .. ~_^ ..

P.S. I love you .. while I was watching the movie I thought in the end Daniel and Holly well end-up together .. I loved their first scene together .. I never read the book .. can you tell me what is the difference ..

Aww, thank you, that's so flattering ^^

As for PS I Love You… the difference was in the way Harry Connick Jr. portrayed Daniel. In the novel the character of Daniel was a lot more like William (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the movie. There was no William in the original novel. Plus it wasn't set in America it was set in Ireland the author Cecelia Ahern is Irish, all her novels are set there. Also in the book Daniel owned the bar and he and Holly met through the Karaoke night. Also Holly's family situation was different. In the novel, her parents were still together, plus she had brothers. And her mother had nothing to do with Jerry's letters. The ending is the same though - where she and Daniel realize they're better off as friends.

Yeah… But for me I'm glad they added him because I really didn't like Harry Connick Jr. as Daniel. I don't know what you thought but… Eww… Haha ^^
