Well, I'm glad you found out what was going on eventually. I can't help but think that Microsoft's software is getting more and more sloppy lately. And there's several issues like the one you've just mentioned I'm sure.

*grins* Thanks Kurt .... yeah, there seem to be more and more cases of sloppiness in MS's stuff of late. There are already a few things missing or not working that I've found a way around already (no FTP classes for the compact framework being one nice big hole) but at least I knew about those before I started! :D

How are things with you these days?

I'm glad you're able to find workarounds Andy. It's what I'm doing with Vista, I'm working my way around it. :P

But anyway, I'm fine. Karen is preparing to move over here with me and I'm preparing for that too. :) I'm a happy dude as it were.

Hehe, I'm managing to work my way around Vista by not using it as much as possible. It'll work fine on my machine, and works fine on my friend's machines, but I don't feel the need to spend money on prettier version of Windows right now :D

Aww, I'm glad to hear things are going so well for you mate! Happy dude = good thing! I do read your journal entries, I just don't always have the time these days to reply - usually I'm reading at work *grins* But I'm still around and watching, so to speak!

I know Andy. I also know you're very busy so don't worry about it. I'm happy that things are going so well for you. You deserve that though cos you're working very hard to get to your goals.
