Yo!

I'm having one of those days that I just LOVE. We all have them from time to time - it's a day when your mind is active, and you just get SO much more done than you usually would. I've managed to combine this with a day where I have more energy than usual, and as a result I've just been ... well, BUSY. I've spent the day doing things that need to be done, and mixing it with things I want to do.

So far I've tidied pretty much the whole house, vacuumed every inch of space I have. I've spent a little time playing with my rats to get to know them a little better. I've installed updates to software that need it on the PC, installed new applications I've been meaning to try for ages now. I've updated and installed new add-ons for World of Warcraft which I plan on playing a decent amount of later. I've washed up, I've done all the washing that needs to be done. I've played with the cats. I've remembered where things are (both on the PC and in the house) that I've been looking for for AGES, and spent time relaxing and reading some of the things I've found, along with other new things too. I've spent time reading a good book (in this case, Jingo from the Discworld series) and enjoyed a nice, hot bath that's left me cleaner than a hospital - though some would argue that with the state of UK hospitals, that might not be a hard task. I've been discussing the current state of the software that I write and sell through our company, and what could be added to it with new features in the near future, as I'll be spending some of tomorrow working on it. I've been deciding what DIY to do around the house - it could do with some - and making plans for that. In short, I've got more done in half a day than I'd normally get done in several, including work days ... I guess I'm making the most of the day off, as I always seem to spend it slouched around and doing little of great value.

So, things are tickedy-boo here, and I even decided to post on LJ too, something I keep meaning to do and never quite get around to. I'm definitely planning on changing that and updating more often - hell, the past 2 months have been so insanely busy and so much has happened, it'll warrant a huge (and likely friends only) post at some stage that could well use more words than Nele's work requires ;) How are things in the world of my friends on here?

Hugs to all!
