This is why I'm glad I don't have kids.

This morning I:

-- went to the gym,
-- folded two loads of Jo's laundry which had been left in the dryer and in a basket in front of the dryer,
-- put a load of my own clothes through the wash and into the dryer,
-- made box lunches for Jo and myself,
-- made breakfast for Jo and myself,
-- cleaned the kitchen from last night, including putting away the dishes in the drainer,
-- put away the dishes in the dishwasher,
-- cleaned the coffee maker in order to make fresh coffee, and
-- washed and put away the dishes from making breakfast and lunch,

before sitting down to breakfast at 7:40 with Jo, who had showered and put a load of clothes into the washer.

At 8:20 (which I felt was a perfectly reasonable interval for breakfast and card games), I cleaned myself up, did my make-up, folded my laundry, and straightened up my bedroom before walking out the door to go to work at 8:42.

I have enough to do in the mornings without kids.

(I am now at work, and that is probably the most productive I will be all bloody day.)

stress, random, normal
