So I have been convinced to watch Formula 1 races. (Hey, Jo watches Mission V6 and other V6 variety clips, and also has some degree of familiarity with GL and the Blue Beetle legacy. Also with Booster Gold. It's fair.)
Mercedes team, both drivers out before the race ended. That was kind of hilarious. (Mostly, I might add, because Jo has the little fantasy-team driver set, and when he asked me who his fourth should be, I told him he should add Nico. Because Nico is awfully pretty. Oops.)
Also the Sauber team drivers were both disqualified, and while Perez I don't really care about one way or the other, I really wanted Kobayashi to do well. (He's adorable. So cute. Has no idea where the brakes are. Also his parents have mortgaged their soba shop to hell and back to keep him racing, and at the last minute he got an F1 contract last year, and then again at the last minute, one for this year, so you really want him to succeed.)
I was ALSO amused by Petrov cockblocking Alonso AGAIN. Let me explain the humor -- the tail end of last season, in the last race, if Alonso had been able to pass Petrov (who had done NOTHING noteworthy all season) into fourth place, he would have been world champion, and Petrov blocked him the entire fucking race. First race of the season this year? Ahahahahaha. Petrov spent the vast majority of the race blocking Alonso. It was great.
And now it is time for me to catch up with the JLI, GL (all three titles), and also Madoka Magica (which I have recently started, and it is awesome, although I have managed to learn NO NAMES AT ALL - but the little magical creature thing is fucking NIGHTMARE FUEL OH GOD).
