So I quit my job last month, right. I now have a new one and am moving two states over. Again. I'll be back in Illinois next month. Being near my sister will be nice; my father may move away from the area but we'll see. (The downside of moving farther away from my brother is offset by being near O'Hare - I can just FLY into NYC and rent a bloody car - which I'll be doing next month in any case, as I'll be attending a wedding in the city.)
Oh, right, running.
I so very much hate running. I really do. HOWEVER.
I used to competitively swim distance, in high school. Stamina I have (the potential for, at least...). Apparently I also have good feet for running -- look, I have arches. They stay arched. Yay.
And then there's the fact that one can run anywhere, really, for being in shape.
Goddammit.
Wish me luck here. I am so going to need it. (Hey, after day one of Break In The New Shoes Via Walking, I no longer heel-strike. Points for proper form. ...I suspect I should be happier about this, and yet.)
I will not run a marathon do not even ask.
