NICO is beyond amazing. It's unbelievable that they're not very popular. I guess the good thing is, it makes it easy for me to see them from just a couple or so meters away.
Concert Day 1: Hamamatsu. I was sight-seeing in Hamamatsu, but decided to take a detour to the venue before going fo rdinner. The city was pretty, clean and teeny. I swear, their roads was the same size as the sidewalk back home. Anyway, people started lining up and I saw some numbers on the floor, though there's no A or B on it. Well, I lined up as well. XD It turned out to be goods line. As soon as people got their stuff, they left. Phew! I was worried I was going to be skipping dinner. Since if I don't eat then, I wouldn't have a next chance. Live ends at 9ish and my shinkansen back to Nagoya was at 10.
I knew they had people line up by numbers, but I wasn't understanding their system. It wasn't like people were lined up all at once. So I was panicking that I might get left out. Later on, I realized they had people line up by groups. A1-50 lines were formed first, and after that they form the next one when the previous group started moving inside. I had B190+ ticket. So when I saw the long line in front of me, I was preparing myself not to see them up close. Surprisingly, I had a very good view of everyone except Tsushima-kun. I was situated right between Micchan and Dai-kun. OMG, I was so excited to see my crush Dai-kun!!! I'm loving him more and more. He is so friggin' hot and cute. At one point our eyes met for few seconds, but then it got too long htat I got all shy and looked away! /headdesk Also, MIcchan is so much hotter in person. I always had a dilemma who to look at. Dai-kun or Micchan? But during the ballads, my eyes were glued on Micchan. Sakakura-kun was totally a dork while working up the crowd with "Pepsi ba"... "ba?" I can't remember. He ruined the ikemen, cool and hot image I have of him. But, damn, he's just so adorable! They made him drink 2 cans because Micchan or Daikun mentioned about him doing 2 cans in Osaka. They were asked if they ate Gyoza or Unagi, Hamamatsu's specialties. Then Tsushima said something about not eating? Dunno... but then it turned out that it was Sakakura and Daisuke who did not eat. But then, I don't understand much Japanese, so I'm just guessing here.
I can't remember the setlist, but they're basically the same as the other venues. The only difference is they played "芽", one of my favorite songs from them. I never realized how much I love this band until I came to the show. The instant they did instrumental intro for "Rodeo," I started tearing up. On a side note, my feet had been aching since I visited Nikko the day before, So I was like in pain the whole day. Plus all the frustrations that lead me to that day disappeared. All I could think of was my dream was finally coming true. I was seeing them in the flesh. This is what I came for all the way from America. It got even worse when Micchan lighted a candle then started playing the accoustic guitar for "Kimi Dake." I was sobbing uncontrollably, and could barely see them. Then the third waterworks happened when they played "芽," I couldn't believe it. I was not expecting that at all because it's not exactly the most popular one out of their album.
Concert Day 2: Nagoya. RADWIMPS. I didn't go out the whole day because my feet were killing me. I could get up the stairs just fine. It's the going down the stairs that's the problem. I can't bend my left knee as I felt a sharp pain when I do. Still, after having a lot of time preparing, I left late. I was actually going to arrive 30minutes before they let people in. But then, I boarded the Special Rapid Train which skips 6-7 stops. Nippon Gaishi Hall was only a 4min ride. Thank goodness I made it 5 minutes before doors opened. I know I can go in anytime since I have an arena seat. But being in a different land, I'd like to be as early as possible. Anyway, I was like at the very last row. Strange thing is, there were people at the railing behind us. It made me wish I should've gone to their Hamamatsu live the day I went to Nikko. I think they performed at the same venue as NICO. My impression? WOW! The energy is still high even from where I'm at. I can't for the life of me remember the setlist. Just that their DADA and おしゃかしゃま were simply amazing. They did very long instrumentals which I love. I liked it when Noda was directing the volume that the other members would play. Then the clapping all around the arena would coincide with it. He was truly enjoying it that it turned out to be a game. Before it was gradual change from low to high, then vice-versa... then suddenly he just shuffled it around. The crowd was right on the dot too, amazingly. Also, Noda played the piano a whole lot. This proves I'm not a dedicated fan since I had no clue he can do it so well.
Concert Day 3: Kanazawa: I was able to write down the setlist. XD

Quick notes:
Daisuke fell into the crowd!!!!! During the first encore song, he somehow managed to climb into the railings on the right wall. Of course, he tends to move like crazy so even in that position, he did not hold back. So he fell off, and the people got to touch him! Damn, I was worried he hurt himself. But the kid just bounced right back up. THen I got pushed back from my 3rd row spot. Nice. But at tonight's live here in Fukuoka, he threw himself into the crowd. I GOT TO TOUCH HIS HAIR!!! OMGOMGOMGGGGG... I wish he fell ON me, but throughout the show I was gradually being pushed straight into the center, right in front of Micchan. Next time, I'll position myself a bit more on Daisuke's side.
Oh, I got to touch Tomoya, Ryota and TORU's hands at the Zepp Osaka live... where Laura and I almost died from being squished worse than sardines and kicked in the head/face countless times. I witnessed Laura's first time to be pulled out from the crowd by the staff. That's saying a lot considering her impressive experience in this sort of stuff. Ironically, the tour's title is "Answer is aLive." So yeah, we came out alive.
