OMFGSH.
So, big spooky epsiode of Criminal Minds tonight. Eeeeeeee. And I have to wait a whole week to see the next one. *cries*
The whole thing about finding a book to break that code, combined with the sword and all the medieval references and the bit about a book that inspired quests, keeps making me think of Arthurian legends and The Once and Future King. Any thoughts, flisters who might've seen it?
Also, I found out today that
James Marsters is making a new movie called
Shadow Puppets. Sounds like a horror-thriller type movie. Which is fine by me, I couldn't care less what type of movie it is, so long as he's in it. XDD
Okay, and here I'm going to make a brief (?) tangent off into Fangirl Land. I decided to read through James Marsters' bio on IMDb, just for fun, and came across the following:
"His appearance at the 2002 Shore Leave sci-fi convention was so popular that a great number of fans had to watch his Q&A sessions from specially set up monitors outside the conference hall. Despite the almost Beatlemania-like overcrowding at the event, he stayed on for over 2 hours after he was scheduled to leave to ensure every single fan who'd waited in line got an autograph."
*sporfles*
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS GUY.
Also, it struck me as amusing that his favorite episode of BtVS is "Once More With Feeling." *giggles* Also also, he does his own stunts. And he went to Julliard.
This was cool too:
"This job is so far beyond any expectations I had. I mean, I'm on a postage stamp in Russia . There's no way you can plan for that. You just have to sit back and giggle and go, 'Oh, wow.'"
*more fangirly giggling*
"Spike was not stupid, but I don't think his hallmark quality was vast reserves of intelligence - charm, good hair, maybe, but not intelligence."
*and more* GOOD HAIR. EEEEEEEEHHEEHEHEHEHEHEHE.
Ahem. Okay. I'm done now. I swear.
Night before last
noroki_girl,
demon_wolf and I crashed the Rangers chat. XDDD It was lots of fun. We didn't actually do anything that bad...just sort of went in and were generally extremely weird, then left. Heh.
I also finally got Skype, and spent quite some time giggling with Trisha and Doro and Gluttony. Then I had to go to bed. >> And now no one's on... DDDD: Or rather, they are, but no one's talking to me. *cries*
Ummm. What else.
Last night I went to a Mavs watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings with Nina and a couple of her friends, and some of her friend's friends. It was a ton of fun. Didn't hurt that the Mavs won 113 to 91. GO MAVS WOO! Next game's this Saturday, and a home game, too. If we can kick ass like we did last time, we are going to PWN.
Hmm. Has anyone on my flist seen Fame? Because according to Google this song *points* is on the soundtrack, but on
stlyrics it's not listed as being either in the movie or the stage show, and besides which I know it's not in the movie because I own the movie, and it's not in there anywhere. WTF?
On a totally unrelated note that I'm sure no one else will care two shits about, the new
cover image for the current chapter of
Inverloch has caused quite a lot of excitement among the fans. Most of it is along the lines of "OMFGSH DEHOODING?!?!?!" I can't say I didn't do the same thing, either. XDDD
Got some new books today. Even though I swore to myself I wouldn't. x__x;;; I picked up
The Gypsy Game by Zilpha Keatley Snyder. The Egypt Game, to which this one is a sequel, was one of my favorite books as a kid. I also got
The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint, which I mainly picked up because it has a
badass freaking cover. The other book I got was
Dangerous Angels by Francesca Lia Block; I read her book I Was a Teenage Fairy years ago and, despite the rather unoriginal title, it was fabulous. Anyway, I'm working my way through Gypsy Game right now, and thoroughly enjoying myself. Yes, I realise it's a children's book.
Also, I'd like everyone to note that I finally found something to use for "Entry Tags" in the sidebar. No thanks to you people. XP
Yeah, and now that this entry is longer than should be legal, I think I'll stop.
