... I just found out one of my old teachers at Richland died in his sleep, I guess last night? Actually, he was never technically one of my teachers, since I never took a class from him, but he was the tech designer for all the shows and I worked with him a ton and this is just so bizarre to me. I have no idea what happened - apparently nobody does, I've talked to a couple of my friends from the department - and it's just so out of left field I'm in total shock and I'm not even having an emotional reaction. Is that normal?

I don't even know. this is just so weird.
